Fields will not be considered of CVYSL quality unless they meet the sizes above, are reasonably flat and level, grassed throughout [allowing for normal wear in goal areas], and are on game days equipped with regulation goals, nets and corner flags; mowed and fully lined in accordance with FIFA Laws of the Game.

  • All substitutions handled as follows:

    • All subs coming into the game stand at midfield.

    • All players go on and off at midfield before subs come on.

    • Throw-ins only:  Opponents subs allowed if both teams have subs.

General Rules:

  • All Parents/fans are to reside on opposite side of field from teams. 

  • The use of shin-guards is mandatory.  Referees will exclude players if not properly equipped. 

  • If referees don't show coaches can substitute for officials provided they are registered on the team roster with the V.Y.S.A.
